Our childcare

We know the golden rule of family holidays - if your children are happy, you’re happy. And that’s why our hotels provide the very best children’s facilities plus an eye-popping choice of exciting outdoor activities. Our supervised childcare is second to none. We take babies from as young as seven days old so that even the newest parents can enjoy a well-earned break. Some Kinderhotels offer as much as 40 hours of baby care a week. And it’s all free.

Our helpful staff provide everything your baby will need from bottle warmers and baby baths to bibs and buggies. In our restaurants you’ll find homemade organic baby food and in your room we’ll provide you with a baby monitor, so you can enjoy a relaxing meal while baby sleeps upstairs. Again, all free of charge.

Our kids clubs are legendary. We won’t lock your children in an basement room with a pile of DVDs. Our fully-trained staff will take them out on pony rides, fishing trips, fairytale hikes and tractor rides. We’ll teach them to swim - from just three months old - and treat them to karaoke contests, magic lessons and junior fashion shows. And all this high-quality childcare is available for up to 60 hours a week, six days a week.

You may have noticed that in addition to their official star ratings our hotels have a Smiley rating - three, four or five Smileys. This is to indicate the amount of facilities provided for children. All Kinderhotels are family-friendly but some have more added extras than others.
